Edward Stover scores 827 — these providers rank higher on Verdica's composite trust score.
The Verdica score is a composite trust score from 300 to 850, computed from audit inspection findings and board registration status maintained by the PCAOB and state boards. A score of 827 places Edward Stover in CO in the excellent (800–850) band. The score reflects publicly available regulator data — it is not a rating from Verdica itself and does not incorporate paid reviews or advertising.
Verdica combines three weighted sub-scores drawn from the PCAOB and state boards. Each sub-score reflects a different dimension of accounting compliance — PCAOB inspection outcomes and state license status — and is normalized against industry peers before being aggregated to the 300–850 scale.
Verdica pulls public records from the PCAOB and state boards: audit inspection findings and board registration status. Data is refreshed on rolling cycles, typically weekly to monthly depending on the source agency's own update schedule. See the "source data current" indicator on the entity page for the last successful refresh.
Common negative signals include PCAOB deficiency findings, disciplinary actions, or license revocations. Any of these appear in the underlying regulator records and pull the sub-score down; the composite reflects the weighted impact.

The greatest experience ever. Thank you so much for everyone. The lady on the phone was so helpful, I was concerned due to a low bridge nearby, I called and the lady who answered was so helpful and professional. Thank you to the unloading team for the great service. 8/7/26

Placed my first order this week and was accidentally shipped a bag of the wrong chocolate. I sent an email since it was after hours. I received a response the next day within 20 minutes of them opening that they would send out the correct item. An email with tracking information immediately followed. Today when pricing and customer service matter I will gladly spend my money at a company that quickly corrects an error. I will certainly be a returning customer now!
Love love love their chocolate. 🍫❤️ As a small business baker who sells tons of cake pops their chocolate not only works the best for dipping it's flavor is amazing my clients love my pops. 🎂😋 Love supporting other small business. 🤝💖 If you dip buy Stovers chocolate

I have to give a low score due to their “Cold packaging” I’ve placed several ordered different weights and all have come melted. It’s extreamly disappointing when i order 6, 5lb bags and they all come melted. You guys should look i to how the company Farmers Dog cold packages their products because theirs travels to Arizona and i receive it in perfect condition. Love this product i just wish i was able to recieve it in the “wafer” form so it’s easier to use.
Great experience every time! From the people who answer the phones to the gentleman that brings out your pick up order(Fred if I remember right) really make me happy to spend my money here.
I placed my first order with Stover & Company and paid extra for their “cold packaging” option, which they claim their system automatically calculates based on weight. For a 32 lb shipment traveling 4 days to Arizona in summer heat, their system chose just four ice packs—completely inadequate for the size, weight, travel time, and temperature. Much of my chocolate arrived melted. When I reached out, the supervisor’s response was to point to their “no refund for melted chocolate” policy and refund only the $12.99 cold pack fee. The bigger issue here is that customers cannot adjust the number of ice packs—you can only say yes or no—so you’re stuck trusting their system. When their calculation fails, they hide behind the policy and suggest you should have paid for more expensive, expedited shipping instead. This feels like weaponizing both their melt policy and higher shipping costs to avoid accountability for a flawed cold packaging calculation. The handling from the supervisor was unhelpful and dismissive. Bottom line: if you’re ordering in any kind of warm weather, don’t trust their “calculated” cold pack amount, and don’t expect them to stand behind it if it’s wrong.
The quality of products are impeccable and If you want chocolate in the summer this is the place. I have ordered about a 100lbs of chocolate this summer and each delivery the chocolate was not even a little melted. As a small business owner this is a really big deal! Customer for life here!
