The Verdica score is a composite trust score from 300 to 850, computed from accreditation status, Title IV outcomes, and IPEDS data maintained by accreditors and the Department of Education. A score of 781 places Charlotte Technical College in FL in the strong (740–799) band. The score reflects publicly available regulator data — it is not a rating from Verdica itself and does not incorporate paid reviews or advertising.
Verdica combines three weighted sub-scores drawn from accreditors and the Department of Education. Each sub-score reflects a different dimension of education compliance — accreditation standing, graduation and default rates, and financial responsibility — and is normalized against industry peers before being aggregated to the 300–850 scale.
Verdica pulls public records from accreditors and the Department of Education: accreditation status, Title IV outcomes, and IPEDS data. Data is refreshed on rolling cycles, typically weekly to monthly depending on the source agency's own update schedule. See the "source data current" indicator on the entity page for the last successful refresh.

Amazing skills and talent from Votech Cosmetology ! Been going for years. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting 2 students, Gianna And Kaylen. I have never been happier with my color! I received highlights, lowlights, root touch up and even fairy hair. I call these gals the color heros of Port Charlotte. Simply the best! The instructors are amazing too ( Mr M.and Ms P). I got all this at a fraction of the cost. You won't be disappointed I promise

Don't go here if you want to be safe, understood, heard or If you want to be treated like an adult, the school and the people in charge will just treat you like some expendable cog, don't come here. They treat everyone like a child no matter if you're 18 or 35, they have arbitrary rules that have nothing to do with laws, then when you question these policies they will lie to your face and say it's state or federal law. Most of the people you interact with at the front desk just posture authority at every chance. If I had known the school was like this I would've never applied. They try to restrict what you do in your day to day life from the caffeine, energy drinks, to smoking. It's incredibly easy to make a smoking area in a corner of the property but they instead will tell you to stand in the middle of the road to smoke. If you enjoy a place filled with common sense, or want to be treated like a functioning adult, don't come here. In my time here I have been bullied, and retaliated against by the instructor daily, given unclear instructions and explanations. Seems instructors priorities are as follows 1)Hazing 2) feed their ego 3) educate, maybe. Absolute joke of a location Also ladies, if you want to be safe somewhere. Don't go here, if you get sexually harassed or worse the director will pull you into a office and try to coerce you into not making a statement, don't get the bully in trouble, and to just grow thicker skin and brush it all under the rug. We even had a student pass away in a car accident during the course, they pulled everyone into a room and gave some half assed speech about the value of people's lives then ended it by saying we had enough time to mourn and cry, and that now we have to get back to work, to just pull ourselves up by our boot straps. Update. After a few months of being tormented daily by that instructor, he had a meltdown, yelled at and flipped off students while saying they didn't deserve to be here. To that instructor. If you're reading this. I no longer think you're a disgrace to the instructor title, I know you are. All you've shown anyone is that you're a hateful racist who used being an instructor as a way to feed your ego, all while playing out some kind of power fantasy where you could be judge, jury, and executioner for an industry you were mediocre in at best. Those "Methods" of getting rid of students you thought didn't deserve to be here worked out really well. Enjoy your retirement, it's a celebration for us too that your way of thinking no longer gets passed on to people you "instruct"
