Institute for Clinical Social Work scores 780 — these providers rank higher on Verdica's composite trust score.
The Verdica score is a composite trust score from 300 to 850, computed from accreditation status, Title IV outcomes, and IPEDS data maintained by accreditors and the Department of Education. A score of 780 places Institute for Clinical Social Work in IL in the strong (740–799) band. The score reflects publicly available regulator data — it is not a rating from Verdica itself and does not incorporate paid reviews or advertising.
Verdica combines three weighted sub-scores drawn from accreditors and the Department of Education. Each sub-score reflects a different dimension of education compliance — accreditation standing, graduation and default rates, and financial responsibility — and is normalized against industry peers before being aggregated to the 300–850 scale.
Verdica pulls public records from accreditors and the Department of Education: accreditation status, Title IV outcomes, and IPEDS data. Data is refreshed on rolling cycles, typically weekly to monthly depending on the source agency's own update schedule. See the "source data current" indicator on the entity page for the last successful refresh.

Great education from working clinicians, with a lot of field opportunity. Small school with a very desirable student:faculty ratio. In-person, distance, or hybrid.

Yes. Entities can file a dispute directly from the score page, and business owners can claim their profile. Verdica reviews disputes against the underlying regulator record; the score is updated when the source data is corrected. Scores are recomputed automatically as new regulator data arrives.
I enjoyed my time at ICSW. I learned so much about me and the psychodynamic process. I completed all of my classes with a high GPA. The problem came when I transitioned to an advanced student. This phase of the program is not funded by financial aid. I made small payments consistently. Scott Harms Rose told me that he would write off the $4,000 that I owed if I withdrew from the institute. I felt like I did not have a choice as I did not have the money to pay the balance. So, I withdrew. I gave my all at icsw but I do not believe that icsw gave their all to me. I am an enrolled member of the federally recognized tribe Chickahominy and will not encourage any of the members to attend icsw. It is a shame because I did receive a great education but I did not receive the degree. I can say that icsw received a lot of money from me when I had financial aid.
