With this being my first experience, exploring all assisted living facilities in Topeka and Manhattan and Wamego. Legends at capital Ridge really shined bright and the sales Director Ed Roach was friendly, honest, upfront, compassionate, and made the whole experience, very welcoming and explained and answered all questions my Father and I had! We look forward to being a part of this wonderful community with great people, good atmosphere and yummy food!!!

Legend Senior Living in Topeka has been a wonderful place for our loved one. The friendly staff are consistently kind, patient, and they genuinely care about the residents. The building is clean, welcoming, and well‑maintained. The daily activities keep everyone engaged and connected. Communication with families is excellent and ongoing. Highly recommend this community for anyone looking for compassionate senior care.
My mom, sister, and I recently toured Legend as a potential living environment for our mom. We were met at the front door by Ed, the sales director and were immediately impressed with an upscale, friendly, and welcoming feeling. The staff is helpful, attentive, and friendly as well. Ed was kind enough to have a delicious, restaurant quality lunch served to us. The apartment options are roomy and within the price range of several other facilities options but not nearly as impressive as Legend. A decision was made within a very short time, that Legend would be my mom's and families choice. I am confident that the care, compassion and beautiful environment will exceed our expectations. Thankyou Ed and staff for making us feel cared for.
From the first interaction with Ed Roach, I knew that I had found the place for my mother. We were in a time crunch and Ed and Ashley worked quickly to get the evaluation completed so that my mother would be able to move in immediately. Marilyn provided us notary services so we didn’t have to find one and everyone else has been most helpful. When they tell you that this will be your parents’ home, they mean it. They provide services with care and compassion. A truly wonderful find and experience.
It’s an alright place, management could be better. A lot of picking and choosing with the staff and favoritism. I’m surprised a couple of them haven’t been fired. Half of the staff are lazy, residents complain about the food, the food could be way better.
The environment is clean, vibrant, and full of life, and they provide a wide range of activities and personalized care. From the moment I stepped in, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Legend Assisted Living truly deserves five stars!
Legend Senior Living is amazing! The staff is wonderful, compassionate, and professional. They truly take pride in the work they do and the care they provide to our loved one. We are very grateful for the kindness, attention, and support they show every day. Highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care for their loved one.
