My father n law was locked out of the facility for almost an hour. No one even went looking for him. We had to call 911 and while they were on their way a random visitor saw him and helped him in and to his room. It was over 90 degrees out and he is on oxygen. He was always left in his wheelchair during the day and numerous times his oxygen tank was out of oxygen. The nursing staff was not trained or familiar with using a nebulizer. Overall, the therapy staff was great! I will be reaching out to Ombudsman and also MN health facility complaints. We do not want others to go through this.
This is a rehab center yet I had to walk a great distance to get to the facility from the parking lot. I couldn't find the check-in area and missed my appointment. Poor signage. Got lost in the parking lots trying to find my vehicle. I couldn't imagine having to come here on a regular basis.
Why did you say I don't want you to come anymore? staff need to service better job for serving the customer not cheat. She said 2 hours for dr then at 1 hour and 30 min. she stopped the veh and said I need 30min. to clean. Why I should be paying you for you to clean your duty.
Therapists were all so adept in diagnosing what physicality wasn’t working and why then explaining the related therapeutic exercise and working it into the overall progress plan. Extraordinary group of people. Nursing staff though short staffed like all health facilities were kind, caring and did their best to take care of everyone’s needs while working around individual schedules of therapy. Administration was also great to work with and wanted to help everywhere they could as well as working with all care team members and managing a complicated process. Food was sometimes good sometimes not but was meant to fit your specific dietary needs and physical swallowing circumstances. So under those circumstances it fit the need and little more. I would highly recommend Courage Kenny over any other facility in the area. There is no other option that comes close.
