The Bara Team helped my husband and I sell our home, rent a home while we looking for a new home, and then buy our new house. Erin and Sonny were professional and lovely to work with. Sonny actively defied his real estate license duties by: 1. False or Misleading Advertising for the listing we purchased He purposely listed the property that we eventually viewed and bough at 2800 sq ft during an attempt to firesale that property during the weekend of July 19th. During that weekend, he had multiple buyers walk through the property and make offers. On July 22nd he sent out a notice of multiple offers. We then increased our bid for multiple offers from $925k to $930k (asking was $900k). After sending our second revised offer, he sent out a notice that the square footage was 2300 sq ft, not 2800 sq ft, though he had already accomplished his goal of stirring up competition. 2. Engaged in deceptive practices to induce a client to enter a contract Our offer was accepted with a 10 day option period. During that time we conducted our inspection and had several fixes that we wanted completed prior to our finalization of the option period. On the 8th day of that option period he called our realtor and told her the only way they would make thos fixes was if we would discontinue the option period and finalize our contract on that day. We told him no, and they apparently have done the work, but we still couldn’t get in to the listing to view that the work was completed because he forced in a month leaseback period at the same time of the offer acceptance. He conducted himself in an unprofessional manner the entirety of the time of the negotiation. Since that date, during our leaseback he is neglecting to allow us to contact the owners who are living in the property that we now own. Don't trust this fool. Update based on Sonny's response on 9/17/25. He can claim and dispute his "best intent" for item #1 all he wants. He still drummed up competition by being inept. For #2, I experienced the phone call. He was trying to force our hand within our option period based on witholding work that was requested. Unprofessional. I stand by my review.
The Bara Team was absolutely amazing. They did an awesome job staging and marketing our home and it sold quickly. They quickly replied to questions and had great solutions for any issues that came up. They exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend them.
