MG FOODS, INC scores 796 — these providers rank higher on Verdica's composite trust score.
The Verdica score is a composite trust score from 300 to 850, computed from health inspections, violation histories, and enforcement actions maintained by FDA and local health departments. A score of 796 places MG FOODS, INC in TX in the strong (740–799) band. The score reflects publicly available regulator data — it is not a rating from Verdica itself and does not incorporate paid reviews or advertising.
Verdica combines three weighted sub-scores drawn from FDA and local health departments. Each sub-score reflects a different dimension of restaurants compliance — recent inspection outcomes, critical violation counts, and closures — and is normalized against industry peers before being aggregated to the 300–850 scale.
Verdica pulls public records from FDA and local health departments: health inspections, violation histories, and enforcement actions. Data is refreshed on rolling cycles, typically weekly to monthly depending on the source agency's own update schedule. See the "source data current" indicator on the entity page for the last successful refresh.
Common negative signals include repeat critical violations, closures, or foodborne illness outbreaks. Any of these appear in the underlying regulator records and pull the sub-score down; the composite reflects the weighted impact.

Truly don't know how this business still exists. Overpriced rotting food
Houston Hobby Airport. Expiration says in 6 days, but cheese is dried out and discolored. Looks like label was ripped off back and maybe replaced.
disgusting and management is lazy and incompetent.
I was flying through Dallas-Fort Worth airport and picked up a turkey and cheddar sandwich. My 14 year old has a nut allergy. Not thinking it would be a problem and in a rush we bought the sandwiches. Not until I was on the plane did I read it contained nuts (walnuts, almonds, filberts, hazelnuts). Why would there be nuts in a sandwich like that, it's not a gourmet specialty sandwich. Anyway she went hungry on the flight. But luckily a worse outcome was avoided. And my review of the sandwich I ate was so-so. I wasn't going to put a public review, but of course I don't know how to get in touch with customer service; also thought this might be a warning to someone else with a nut-allergy.
You should be ashamed there is literally no way you could have put this much amount of egg salad for that price you should be ashamed this is ridiculous I will not buy your product anymore I am very disappointed
Sunday 3/30/25 around 1:00 PM, one of their drivers pulled out in front of me on Hwy 546 in West Monroe, LA. He then proceeded to throw a McDonald’s bag out of his window. Trash hires trash.
Eating a plain cup a tuna salad, when I read the ingredients to see it contains wheat. Why would you put panko bread crumbs in tuna salad? My celiac disease didn’t appreciate the unnecessary ingredient. Do better.
