Newly Weds Foods Inc scores 764 — these providers rank higher on Verdica's composite trust score.
The Verdica score is a composite trust score from 300 to 850, computed from health inspections, violation histories, and enforcement actions maintained by FDA and local health departments. A score of 764 places Newly Weds Foods Inc in IL in the strong (740–799) band. The score reflects publicly available regulator data — it is not a rating from Verdica itself and does not incorporate paid reviews or advertising.
Verdica combines three weighted sub-scores drawn from FDA and local health departments. Each sub-score reflects a different dimension of restaurants compliance — recent inspection outcomes, critical violation counts, and closures — and is normalized against industry peers before being aggregated to the 300–850 scale.
Verdica pulls public records from FDA and local health departments: health inspections, violation histories, and enforcement actions. Data is refreshed on rolling cycles, typically weekly to monthly depending on the source agency's own update schedule. See the "source data current" indicator on the entity page for the last successful refresh.
Common negative signals include repeat critical violations, closures, or foodborne illness outbreaks. Any of these appear in the underlying regulator records and pull the sub-score down; the composite reflects the weighted impact.

Truckers, avoid this place at all costs. Loading takes forever, and the staff has absolutely no respect for drivers’ time. Everyone works at an unbelievably slow pace, and nobody seems to care how long you’re stuck waiting. If you’re dispatched here, you’re better off canceling the load—it’s simply not worth the wasted hours. One of the worst shipping experiences I’ve had.
6 hrs past appointment time. What a joke. This place thinks it Walmart. Never again
I-90W /I-94W take exit 47A for Fullerton Ave toward Western Ave use the left 2 lanes to turn Left / West onto W Fullerton Ave Turn Right / North onto N Pulaski Rd Turn Left / West onto W Wrightwood Ave after the Bridge 13.6ft /GOOD FOR SEMI TRUCKS WITH 53FT Trailer company will be ON LHS / LEFT HAND SIDE
the worst pick up in Chicago area, lots of trucks waiting in VERY SMALL parking lot, when you back up, you can damage trailer side skirts!!!
If they have enough people working, you will be in and out in 2 hours. By appointment only, you have to have an appointment. If there is no appointment, if you do not have an appointment, you will be worked in. ( sometimes 6-7 hours wait time) Coming here every week for the past 4 years.
Very professional people work here. Very helpful, polite, and work fast in & out in about 2 hours. Slide tandems to the rear, take your emergency/red air line off. You need your load number and destruction, and trailer number. Make sure your trailer is clean. Respect.
