SOUTHERN TIER STAGES INC scores 813 — these providers rank higher on Verdica's composite trust score.
The Verdica score is a composite trust score from 300 to 850, computed from safety inspection records and BASIC scores maintained by the FMCSA. A score of 813 places SOUTHERN TIER STAGES INC in NY in the excellent (800–850) band. The score reflects publicly available regulator data — it is not a rating from Verdica itself and does not incorporate paid reviews or advertising.
Verdica combines three weighted sub-scores drawn from the FMCSA. Each sub-score reflects a different dimension of trucking compliance — operating authority, crash indicator, driver fitness, and vehicle maintenance — and is normalized against industry peers before being aggregated to the 300–850 scale.
Verdica pulls public records from the FMCSA: safety inspection records and BASIC scores. Data is refreshed on rolling cycles, typically weekly to monthly depending on the source agency's own update schedule. See the "source data current" indicator on the entity page for the last successful refresh.
Common negative signals include out-of-service orders, unsatisfactory safety ratings, or BASIC alerts. Any of these appear in the underlying regulator records and pull the sub-score down; the composite reflects the weighted impact.

Smallest fish and chips in the city. Two pieces and each one is the size of a chicken wing, $22 for that is a tad insane. It was tasty though.

Good food and great beer selection. Friendly service. The Thursday Burger special is a fantastic deal
This is not a direct review of the restaurant, but one of their wing flavors from Buffalo Wing Fest 2026. They had one called Stuff it. Chicken wing covered in a stuffing bread crump rub with a splash of cranberries. I couldnt tell for sure but was it possibly dipped in turkey gravy before the stuffing coat? Either way it was fantastic and my favorite for the year!!
Came into the taproom and had such an awesome experience. Mackenzie was amazing!! Genuinely one of the friendliest staff I’ve met in a taproom. She made the visit enjoyable with how welcoming, knowledgeable, and upbeat she was. From helping me choose the right beer to making sure I had everything I needed, she went above and beyond and made the experience feel personal and fun. It’s clear she really cares about creating a great environment for guests. Southern Tier Brewery is always a great spot, but Mackenzie truly made this visit exceptional.
Maddie and Taylor were excellent. Great customer service. Great beer too.
Taylor and Maddie were excellent and made the Southern Tier experience in Buffalo a great visit.
Went here twice during the weekend after we came up for a wedding. Our only comparison was the Cleveland location we had been to years ago. The first night we went, Emily was our server and was an absolute sweetheart. Food was amazing, beer was fantastic, and the atmosphere was great for what I remember. Those Pumpqueens hit hard so after 3, things get a little fuzzy. Went back again on Saturday and we had Patrick as our server who was absolutely emaculate. He was able to let us sample something that had not been released yet which we ofcourse brought home. I highly recommend the crispy cauliflower with extra sauce- I promise you will not be disappointed. Of all the things we did in buffalo, southern tier is probably the most memorable.
